Above: Our sandstone was historically mined in the late 1800's from this (and similar quarries) located where the current Fletcher Jones Gardens now lie. We source (ie, reclaim) the sandstone from those buildings which were originally built using the sandstone materials mined from these quarries.

It was mined from a hard belt of sandstone that runs through the coastal shipwreck port of Warrnambool. During the famous and seafairing Shipwreck days of the Loch Ard, La Bella, Falls of Halladale, The Shomberg and many others that went down around that era.
